Essential Qualification and Experience
  • MOT 1st Class (Combined  or  Motor) Certificate issued under the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958.
  • Three years’ experience as Chief Engineer or four years’ combined experience as Chief Engineer and 2nd Engineer on board a Foreign Going Ship
Upper Age Limit (As on 1.1.2018)

Relaxation for Age Limit
Upper age is relaxable by 5 years for ST & 3 years for OBC
Pay Scale
Rs. 32,900 – 58,000/- (Due for Pay Revision w.e.f 01.01.2017)
